New last year, our Nature's Dog goat's milk shampoos and healthy treats were met with a lot of tail wagging and woofs of approval! Encouraged by so many happy four-legged customers, we quickly developed two new all natural shampoos, a new Nature's Dog oatmeal shampoo with Lavender and Cedarwood Oils and a tearless puppy shampoo with Lavender Oil.

Canus for a Cure Campaign Kicks-off
If someone close to you has been through chemotherapy or radiation treatment, they probably suffered a common, often painful side effect: dry, rashy, peeling skin. Canus' fresh goat's milk products alleviate the dryness and cracking, making cancer patients more comfortable as they forge ahead in their courageous battle. For a long time now, cancer causes have been near and dear to our hearts. This fall, we’re making that support official and expanding our commitment as we launch the Canus for a Cure Campaign. Each color in our new, multi-ribbon logo stands for a different cancer that has somehow touched our lives: The pink ribbon represents breast cancer, green is for kidney cancer, light blue for prostate cancer, gold for childhood cancers and lavender represents universal cancer awareness.
Of course, we will continue our in-kind donations to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Thousands of runners in more than 20 races nationwide recently discovered our products in their goodie bags. Thousands more will find them in their bags in upcoming Susan G. Komen races in Central Florida (October 25) and Austin, Texas (Nov. 1).
We’re building on those efforts to find a cure and aide survivors with other programs like these:
Working in coordination with the American Cancer Society, we are supplying all the rooms at the Hope Lodges in Burlington, Vermont; Boston, Massachusetts and Worcester, Massachusetts with fresh goat’s milk soaps and lotions. Hope Lodges provide free lodging to cancer patients (and their caregivers) as they receive medical treatment at area medical centers. Every year the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge in Boston alone provides up to 14,600 comfy nights, along with free counseling and support.
Canus is working directly with oncology units at hospitals to distribute lotion and body butter samples to patients undergoing care. Canus fresh goat's milk products are given directly to patients of several New England hospitals including Maine Medical Center, Rutland Regional Medical Center, Fletcher Allen in Burlington, and Southwestern Vermont Health Care in Bennington.
Canus also provides support to a select group of other organizations raising money for cancer-related research, resources, and care including the Starlight Children’s Foundation and The Ellie Fund.
